The Validity of the Theory of Planned Behaviour for Understanding People’s Beliefs and Intentions toward Reusing Medicines

Background: many factors can impact a person’s behaviour. When the behaviour is subject to prediction, these include, for example, perceived advantages and disadvantages of performing behaviour, normative beliefs, whether thought be achievable. This paper examines intentions engage in medicines reuse, i.e., accept that are returned unused pharmacy reused. The aims outline validity Theory Planned Behaviour (TPB) understanding people’s reuse by examining this against other long-standing health-related psychological theories behavioural change. Thus, Health Belief Model (HBM), Protection Motivation (PMT), Trans-Theoretical Change (TTM/SoC), Reasoned Action (TRA), TPB examined their application study reuse.
